We’re looking for a talented AI/ML Engineer to join our growing team at DeckMake. As an AI/ML Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of what makes DeckMake special — building and improving the AI systems that transform a rough idea or text prompt into a polished, beautifully structured presentation. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering to push the boundaries of what AI can do for human communication.

Responsibilities:

• Design, train, and improve ML models that power DeckMake’s slide generation, layout suggestion, and content structuring features.
• Work with large language models and multimodal AI to produce presentation-ready content from freeform text prompts.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate user needs into AI-driven features.
• Evaluate model quality through user feedback loops, A/B testing, and automated benchmarks.
• Optimize inference pipelines for speed and cost efficiency at scale.
• Stay current with the latest research in generative AI, NLP, and multimodal models and bring relevant advances to the team.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience working with large language models (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG).
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals: training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Experience with cloud ML infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, and product teams.
